Move Aside BB and CC: The First-Ever DD Cream Is Here

First, there was the original: AA, er, anti-aging creams. BB creams—the super-buzzy "beauty balm" foundation replacements we're sure you've at least heard of by now—followed. The industry, then, one-upped itself and out emerged the CC Cream, a "color correcting" formula packed with more anti-aging and complexion-brightening ingredients than its lesser letter counterparts.

And just when we've barely wrapped our brains around CC, there's now another alphabet-cream making its way on the market—can you guess?—DD, "dynamic do-all" creams and concealers.

Julep's new wave of skincare-makeup hybrids—which promise to "tackle signs of aging while diminishing fine lines, balancing uneven tone, and protect delicate areas of the face"—just went up for pre-order in the States.

The DD cream ($36) comes in four shades and packs SPF protection among the aforementioned benefits, while the DD concealer ($32) is said to help "diminish the appearance of dark circles, discoloration, redness, blemishes, and other skin flaws."

Tell us, will you be quick to try out the first DD products when they officially hit shelves on May 25th? Or is this whole alphabet-beauty craze starting to, um, get a little out of hand? Sound off in the comments, below!
